1 HOTEL BROOKLYN BRIDGE, New York – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, enjoying the excellent location near the East River and the stunning city views. The rooms were mostly clean but a bit dusty with a fabulous view, even though there were porta-potties for Brooklyn Bridge Park in front. The service was disorganized and unfriendly overall, especially at the rooftop bar. The dining experience was a mix, with an amazing selection but quite expensive. The facilities were decent though not outstanding.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of delight and disappointment. While the room I received did not offer the requested river or bridge view, it was impeccably clean and surpassed my expectations with unique features like living walls and an iPad for hotel services. The service, while friendly overall, had instances where staff seemed eager to rush guests out, and some members came off as a bit arrogant. The location, though offering breathtaking views and convenient access to the waterfront, had its drawbacks with third-party-operated services and a rooftop that felt overrun by tourists. The dining experience was a blend of amazement and sticker shock, with some items priced exorbitantly but still offering delicious options. Overall, my stay was marked by highs and lows, with standout features and some areas in need of improvement.
